MISC 10D ** UPDATED FEB '93 **
FISHLIST
This disk, thrown together by me, Daniel Rutter, contains an enormous
PowerPacked text file of the contents files from every Fish disk from 1 to
750, in numerical order.
I recommend you unpack it and put it on your hard disk, and use a fast
text editor like CEDPro to search through the 1.2 megabytes of uncompressed
ASCII. It CAN be used from floppy with the help of PP, the PowerPacker
Patcher, but you'll need a couple of megabytes of RAM. I find this
textfile a much simpler way of finding stuff than Aquarium. It's not
bootable and the list is iconned to display with Fullview but I DON'T
recommend using Fullview's slow search function to find anything! [Ed: I
use TxEd, MicroSmith's old text editor, which works fine.]
** CLARIFICATION **
MS 310 A, B, C
MINI/MAXI/MIDIBACH (3 separate disks)
Done Stones put together these three excellent disks, containing Bach's
Well Tempered Klavier Preludes & Fugues from Book I of the "48". They have
been saved in three different formats - MiniBach for use with Tiger Cub,
MaxiBach for use with Dr.T's KCS and MidiBach for those with other music
programmes that can convert &/or load MIDI files e.g. Music-X and Bars &
Pipes. Very well done, and including some interesting text files on the
background of the pieces and of tuning in general. Not bootable but
iconned.
Note that all 3 disks have the same tunes but in different formats:
* Disk A has Cub files
* Disk B has MIDI files
* Disk C has ALL type files, for those who want them
TITANIC CHEATS ***UPDATE***
This is v1.21 of Paul Lawrie's ShareWare ($8 payment plus $2 if you want
an update) disk filled with cheats, now for about 400 games. It's set up
very sensibly, with each game's cheat in a separate file and all of them
sorted into alphabetical directori es, so it's easy to find what you want
without fishing through huge files or using unstable menu systems. This
version also fixes many formatting bugs. Definitely worth the money. Not
bootable, no icons.
MISC 158 F & G
OCCULT *** UPDATE *** (2 disk set)
This was originally a 5 disk set; I've trimmed some useless files out,
removed also some rather offensive but very old bawdy songs which slipped
through the net last time, organised the contents into subjects and
PowerPacked the lot, and got them down t o 2 disks despite the addition of
several new files. The disks are full of text files, mainly on occult
topics, which I (Daniel Rutter) have collected over some time. In them
you'll find information on various secret societies, pagan rituals,
conspiraci es, interesting philosophies and so on. This is NOT a load of
idiot Satanic propaganda - none of the rituals advocate cutting people up
or setting fire to orphanages, it's all peaceful pastoral stuff. I find
many of the files pointless, but there are so me interesting viewpoints and
a lot of common sense in there to defuse the tabloid believers out there;
these files give a very good idea of what various organisations are
actually on about. Note that I do NOT in any way say that this is all true
- or t hat any of it is - I just thought I'd put it on disk in the
interests of freedom of information. Broaden your mind! Not bootable or
iconned, and you'll need a text viewer - like FullView, for example - which
handles PowerPacked files.

TITANIC CHEATS 1.20
Paul Lawrie compiled this excellent ShareWare ($8 payment plus $2 if you
want an update) disk filled with cheats for 300 games. It's set up very
sensibly, with each game's cheat in a separate file and all of them sorted
into alphabetical directories, so it's easy to find what you want without
fishing through huge files or using unstable menu systems. Not bootable,
no icons.
UT 199 ROADROUTE *** UPDATED & IMPROVED 'FEB 93 by Bill Woolford ***
This will run on a 512K Amiga - but if you want to
also run the mCAD option, you need 1 meg of Ram.
This is a disk setup to run RoadRoute with Australian files. The disk is
setup to run from Workbench or to boot on. When booted on most programs
will run from a menu created with TextPaint. The program is set up with two
Australian files covering 290+ towns and 390+ roads. These towns allow a
trip right around Australia. Set up and sent in by Peter Billing. See
Peter's review of this program in MD20.
Bill Woolford has updated this disk radically to incorporate much better
and more extensive data re towns and distances. It is now a much better
utility for planning that trip. See all the improvements in a doc file on
the disk.
GR 170 ** UPDATED JAN '93 **
Image Formats:
A grab-bag of image format standards (GIF87a, GIF89a, IFF, Grasp,
TIFF 5.0 and TIFF F) and a few IFF programmer's libraries.
Updated Jan '93 by Dave Campbell to incorporate updated version of the
NewIFF files.
MISC 43 JOKES *** UPDATED by Paul Statham Jan '93 ***
65K of assorted hilarity, set up to boot. WARNING - a lot of this
material is extremely offensive, and often not even particularly funny,
with a very high locker-room content. Some good stuff as well, but you
need thick skin. Thanks to Michael Ruffin for sending this in.

68000 THEME 3-PACK (3 disk set)
These three disks, sent in by Paul McLachlan, contain a gold mine of
information for Amiga programmers in general and MC68000 machine code
programmers in particular. The organisation of the disks could be
charitably described as somewhat haphazard, but for the level of user
they're aimed at this isn't a problem.
On Disk 1 you'll find the DevPac II monitor (with help file) and what seems
to be a COMPLETE Amiga hardware manual, complete with pictures!
*** Ed: This hardware manual was a complete copy of the Commodore Hardware
Manual, presumably entered via some OCR set-up, and therefore
rather abusive of copyright, so it has been removed - sorry!
*** Lost ! Can anyone replace? ***
UT 275
